The Art of Weddings

The Art of Weddings was one of the most creative parties I’ve been to in a while. It was designer and Project Runway alum Heidi Elnora’s answer to a traditional runway show to debut her spring 2010 collection. Held at The Lowe Gallery in Midtown, each gown was the spotlight in a vignette inspired by the artwork in the gallery. Heidi wasn’t the only one inspired–check out the awesome work of the floral and beauty artists who took part!

Danny Wilson of the Savage Garden did that cocoon of flowers in the back… see how it mirrors what Mary Jane Starke did for the model’s hair?
